Rental Request

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Includes 6 hours of time on your wedding day, and a 1 hour rehearsal the night before. Mansion sets up chairs and tables. Indoor or outdoor space can accommodate 50-70 people. The couple is permitted to bring their own food, or work with a caterer. Alcohol is allowed through a licensed server, and with police security. Wedding must be booked around public mansion tour times

Garden Party

Whatever the reason for your garden party, the Barker Mansion is sure to be the perfect backdrop. The time allotted for these events is 3 hours. Additional time may be added at $100 per hour and schedule one month prior to event.

Bridal showers, baby showers, receptions, and more can be held at the Barker Mansion either indoors or outdoors. The time allotted for these events is 3 hours. Additional time may be added at $100 per hour and schedule one month prior to event.

Photo Shoot Time

Includes 2 hours of time for you and your photographer to use the mansion and grounds for engagement or wedding day-of photos if you are getting married elsewhere, scheduling is flexible.

Book our Purdue room in the basement for your meeting. Maximum capacity is 40 people. The time allotted for meetings is 2 hours.

Accessibility

The Barker Mansion has an accessibility ramp in the rear of the building so guests can access the first floor and first floor bathroom. The lower level is accessible via two chair lifts. We ask that those who require the ramp call ahead so that staff can meet guests at the side entrance on 7th Street: (219) 873-1520. Please contact the Mansion with any questions. We are happy to help!
